Prayer is vital to a spiritually thriving life. At Farmington UMC we place a high importance on the value of prayer for our church and our individual spiritual journeys.

You can make a prayer request by filling out the card provided in the sanctuary placing it in the offering Sunday morning. Your prayer request may remain anonymous if you wish.

Also Sunday mornings after each worship service, trained Prayer Ushers are available to pray with you with confidentiality.
Ways to serve God with the F.U.M.C. Prayer Team:
Wednesday Night Prayer ~ we start at 5:45 pm in the F.U.M.C. Prayer Room (Pauline's Room) listening prayerfully to a study on the Book of Acts then intercession begins at 6:15 p.m. to about 7:30 p.m. Please jump in at any time from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is an open opportunity for anyone to help the church and community with your prayers. We are adjusting the weekday we will be meeting in the autumn 2009 please e-mail kdbutton@yahoo.com for the exact weekday for each week. Open to all.
Sunday Prayer Meeting is held in the F.U.M.C Sanctuary Prayer Closet 8:45 a.m. until the service begins . We pray seeking God in the same scriptures being taught in the Adult Sunday school Class applying the Word to the life of our church. Open to all. Contact kdbutton@yahoo.com
Pray with us via skype - You may wish to join us on Wednesdays or Sundays via your computer or if an urgent need we can call your phone via skype so you are able to join the prayer session.
Drive-By Prayer Team. This group of people has committed to pray for spiritual revival of the churches and communities they drive-by on their route to and from work each day. Open to all Contact kdbutton@yahoo.com
Backside Prayer and Ministry team. This group prays fervently and continuously for the residents on the backside of the Finger lakes racetrack across the road from us. We partner with the racetrack chaplaincy to minister to the people working there through bible study, social events, clothing provisions. Contact kdbutton@yahoo.com

Prayer Call. God raised up this non-denominational group from the prayers of the Drive-By Prayer Team. It is made up of a group of prayer contacts (PCs) from a wide geographic area that meet once a month to pray for God's revival to come. Prayer Call Schedule
