At Farmington UMC we exist to help "ordinary people become spiritually thriving
servants of Christ for the sake of the world." Therefore, we provide many ways to
go "deeper" in your journey with Christ.
Our Small Groups provide a great way to deepen your journey with Christ in an
interactive, comfortable environment. There are lots of different types of Small
Groups to fit everyone's style--relational groups, Bible studies, task groups, and
even cyber groups. For a list of current Small Groups, click here.
We also offer a series of Core Classes designed to help you grow in various areas of your faith. The classes are offered several times throughout the year.
Newcomers 101 provides an overview of the way we do things at Farmington UMC. Here you will learn the background of the church, our philosophy, and our main programs. This class is taught by Pastor Jeff Long.
Christian Living 201, taught by Joey Norsen, discusses three important habits of a
thriving spiritual life- a daily God time, giving and Small Groups.
Gifts Discovery 301 helps you discover how God uniquely created you to serve in the church. Through clarifying your passions, spiritual gifts, and personal style, this
class helps you find a place to serve that can be both effective and fulfilling.
Contagious Christian 401 This class helps equip you to share your faith in a way that is comfortable and fitting with your personality style.
