Small Groups

We believe that small groups are vital to spiritual growth.  The early church modeled this as “Every day they continued to meet together… They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God… And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:46-47).  Jesus himself also modeled this when he gathered a small group of disciples around himself during his life here on earth. 

 

The Small Groups ministry at FUMC exists to create little communities that pray, share, study, serve, and reach out together.  It is our desire that every person finds a group where they feel like they belong and that through relationships with those people spiritual growth would occur.
