Our church exists to make a difference in the world. We provide a wide assortment of projects that get us serving locally, regionally, domestically, and globally.
“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
Is our Church a building where people congregate once a week or a place where people come to worship, give, serve, heal and take care of those in need? This is the question we are constantly asking at Farmington Community Church.
Our answer is that Farmington strives to be a church that supports radical outreach. We have taken the concept of community service and put it on steroids.
Here are some of the ways we reach out:
- Mission Trips
- Haiti Partnership
- Yearly Missions banquet and auction
- Shoe Box gifts with Operation Christmas Child
- Samaritan’s Purse
- Child Sponsorships with Compassion International and World Vision
- Adopt a Front Line worker with Voice of the Martyrs
- Work with the local Victor/Farmington Food Cupboard through weekly volunteers, food donations, school supply drive, and hosting the community-wide Thanksgiving Basket Distribution
- Easter Basket distribution
- Clothing giveaway
- Christmas cookie distribution
- Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army
